2009 Newsletter
Fall is in full force. The leaves are falling off the trees and a lot of people
are preparing their yards for the winter. Some communities have had their first
snow fall of the year while others have had multiple storms.
With this type of year many people stay inside to keep warm. This is the perfect
time to work on scrapbooks. Create them for the holiday season as gifts or make
them for yourself. Whatever you do with these scrapbooks now is the perfect time
to work on them.
Announcing our new Design Team…
Back in September we made a call for design team members. We were looking
for people to create sports layouts and projects to be highlighted on our
website. In October we announced our winners. We had so many entries, so
obviously the decision process was hard due to the wonderful pages that were
submitted.
On
October 18th we announced our decision.

to find out who the winners are and to read more information about each of our
members.
Here is a layout by Design Team member Carolyn Lontin,

she used to create this awesome layout.
We look forward to the projects and articles that will be forth coming
from our new design team. Make sure you visit our
Project Center and
blog regularly to see
what they submit.
Be prepared by purchasing your supplies early
When you are prepared in advance, you will take the right pictures. I don’t know about you, but if I have my stickers picked out already, I
know
what pictures I need to take.
For example, if you are taking pictures of your son’s soccer games,
you may not think about taking pictures of the crowd or when the
team is in a huddle during a time out. When you purchase your
supplies after the season is over you may find sayings for the crowd
or the huddles. If you were to have known those would be included,
you would have taken those pictures.
You may not know exactly what you want to purchase for your
scrapbook, but purchasing a few things or looking at what you have
to choose from will help you with the pictures you take.
